A Favorite Travel Writing Experience

Apart from my regular gig on the Taking Off Travel Blog, one of the places I most enjoy writing for is Sharing Travel Experiences, owned by Andy Hayes. There are lots of reasons why I like it:

  • The focus on experiences makes me think about my trips (and my writing about my trips) in a different way.
  • There’s a great community on the STE site.
  • Andy’s fun – and great to work with

I always find myself smiling as I write posts for Sharing Travel Experiences.  Here’s what I’ve written before:

I’ve just submitted another post, which I hope will be live in the next couple of weeks.

New Testimonial – Park Ride Fly USA

I’ve just completed a gig running a travel blog for Park Ride Fly USA. They were kind enough to say the following about my services:

“Sharon Hurley Hall helped our company create a winning social media strategy. Sharon’s expertise in blog management, content generation, and social media promotion was invaluable and she enabled our business to access these emerging sales channels.” – Peter Wertheim, Director, Business Development, Park Ride Fly USA.

I’ve been a nomad all my life, which is one reason why my latest gig at ParkRideFlyUSA is such a boon. In between client jobs, I’ve written up a few of my travel experiences on my Writing Lab blog. Here’s what there is so far.

Travel Blogging Gig – First Post

I’ve been a nomad all my life. It’s my parents’ fault, really. They had itchy feet and took us with them to the UK and the Caribbean. When I was older, I travelled in America, South America, Europe and saw even more of the UK. I love visiting new places and meeting new people, so a travel blogging gig is a dream job for me.

I’ve just started blogging for the Eclectic Rebel travel blog. My first post looks at things to do on a layover in LAX. Visit, bookmark and don’t be afraid to show some social media appreciation. I’ll be blogging twice a week at first, but who knows what may happen? I’ll keep you posted.
