New Blogging Gig – Quips and Tips
I’ve just started a new blogging gig on the Quips and Tips network of sites, owned by Laurie Pawlik-Kienlen. One of the things I like about this gig is having the chance to cover some different areas. My first post on the Quips and Tips for Money and Love site went up on March 7th. It’s called What Do I Do When Someone Dies? Funeral Planning in 4 Steps. It’s a topic I’m familiar with from the days when I created the content for an estate planning site in the UK. I’ve got a lot more post ideas in the bag, so if you want to keep track, bookmark this page.
Guest Post – Ms Ileane Speaks
This week, I’ve had a guest post published on Ms Ileane Speaks. It covers my favorite Chrome extensions. I love to blog about web topics and tools, so this was fun to write.

I’ve just completed a gig running a travel blog for Park Ride Fly USA. They were kind enough to say the following about my services:
“Sharon Hurley Hall helped our company create a winning social media strategy. Sharon’s expertise in blog management, content generation, and social media promotion was invaluable and she enabled our business to access these emerging sales channels.” – Peter Wertheim, Director, Business Development, Park Ride Fly USA.
Sharon On The Web – March 2010 Update
It’s time for my quarterly (or thereabouts) update on what I’ve been doing online. As usual a lot of my work has been blogging for clients. Here are the posts.

PiggyBankPie Post Update – December 2009
These are my latest website and tool reviews on PiggyBankPie.
Location Independent Parents Is Live!
One of the projects I’ve been working on behind the scenes is a new site called Location Independent Parents. Lea Woodward, Amy Palko and I share our experience of being location independent parents. We’re all very different, so the site has something for everyone. Here are my first three posts (but be sure to check out the rest):
New Blogging Gig!
I’m now writing for Blogging Tips. I’ll be posting once a week and my first post has just gone live. It’s called: Two Weeks With Echo.
Guest Post On Location Independent
Simple Social Media Strategies For Location Independent Professionals is my first guest post on the Location Independent blog. A few weeks ago, Cath Duncan suggested that writing about how location independent professionals can manage social media without getting overwhelmed might be a good idea. This guest post is the result. (Thanks, Cath.) Here’s an excerpt:
I belong to dozens of networks but of late my interaction has been limited to just three. Here’s what I’ve chosen, why I’ve chosen them and what I get out of each
Hope you enjoy it.
